Device in software installation mode

After launching AirCard Watcher and inserting the AirCard modem, the status window displays "Device in software installation mode".

This message appears only on modems with TRU-Install™. TRU-Install modems do not have an installation CD. AirCard Watcher (or other connection manager software) installs directly from the modem.

Software Installation Mode allows you to install and repair the software and explore items on the TRU-Install drive.

If you do not wish to run the software installation, you must put the Sierra Wireless AirCard modem in Modem Mode.

In AirCard Watcher, click the Menu icon  and select Modem Mode.
