Router Status
This page displays the current settings of the router’s ports and some system information.
System Info
This section displays some basic the information about the system, including the System Name and the Firmware Versions.
System Name: Displays the NETGEAR Product Name (Ex: FVX538 or FVS338).
Firmware Version: The primary firmware is the version of the firmware the router is using. By default, the router will boot from this version. The secondary firmware is the previous version of firmware that was in use. This will change when the router is upgraded.
LAN Port
This section displays information about the LAN port.
The Configured MAC Address: The router’s LAN side MAC address.
IP address: The router’s LAN side IP address.
Subnet mask: The router's LAN side subnet mask.
DHCP: Indicates if the router’s DHCP server is enabled or disabled. If it is enabled, then machines connected on the LAN will receive their IP address dynamically.
WAN1 Configuration and WAN2 Configuration
The WAN1 Configuration displays information about the WAN1 port and the WAN2 Configuration displays information about the WAN2 port. For each port the following information is displayed:
WAN Mode: Single port, Load Balancing or Auto Rollover (see the WAN Mode page under the Network Configuration menu for more details.)
WAN State: Indicates if this particular WAN port is Up or Down.
NAT: Indicates if the router is in NAT mode (enabled) or routing mode (disabled).
Connection Type: Indicates if the WAN IP address is obtained dynamically through a DHCP server or assigned statically by the user.
Connection State: Indicates if the WAN port is connected or not.
IP Address: IP address of the WAN port.
Subnet: Subnet Mask for the WAN port.
Gateway: Gateway IP address of the WAN port.
DNS: DNS server IP address of the WAN port.
MAC address: MAC address of the WAN port.
