Trend Micro |
The router will check each computer that is making a connection request to
the WAN to see if it has the Trend Micro OfficeScan Antivirus Client installed and updated
with the latest virus definitions. If a computer does not have the OfficeScan
Client installed or if the virus definitions are outdated, then connections to
the WAN will be rejected by the router. |
Antivirus Enforcement |
To enable antivirus enforcement, check the Yes radio box and fill in the following fields: |
v |
Office Scan Server IP Address: The IP address of
the computer where the OfficeScan Server is
installed. |
v |
Office Scan Client Communication Port: The port
number through which the the OfficeScan Server and client communicate. |
v |
Office Scan Server HTTP Port: The port on which the
OfficeScan Server is listening for HTTP requests. |
|
For details on other OfficeScan settings, refer to the Trend Micro User Guide. |
Host Exclusion List |
This table lists the PC’s that are allowed to access the WAN without OfficeScan
Client. The router will not check to see if the hosts on this list have OfficeScan
Client installed. This can be useful for bypassing checking when devices
such as VoIP phones or computers running another OS need to access the WAN side. |
Add Host |
To add a host to the Exclusion List, type in its IP
address and click Add. |
