Enhancements:

• The addition of two new modes in the UI to improve 10G link compatibility:
  • Auto Power Down: This option fixes the issue where there is no link established on a port.
  • Short Cable: This option fixes the issue where a 10G link speed drops to 1G.
• To select the new modes in the UI, click System > Management > Green Ethernet.

Known Issues:

• The Registration page displays again after you restart the switch, even if you turned off the registration option.
  Workaround: Close the registration pop-up window, or register the switch.
• If a partner device functions at 1000 Mbps, and you disable the connected port on the XS728T or XS748T switch, the port speed on the partner device displays as only 10 Mbps.
  Workaround: Unplug the cable.
• If you configure the management VLAN with an ID other than 1, the switch default static IP address (192.168.0.239) becomes 0.0.0.0.
  Workaround: Use DHCP or assign a valid static IP address.
• A cable test is accurate for copper ports that are linked at 10G speed with Cat5e cables. With other link speeds or cable types, the results might not be accurate.
• If you update the firmware using a USB device, the USB device must support the FAT32 file type. The switch does not support the NTFS file type.
