Bug Fixes:

• Fixes the issue where the switch is not able to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server when the DHCP Offer packet contains 2 gateway addresses.

Known issues:

• The stored password format of v7.0.0.9 and v7.0.0.10 is incompatible with v7.0.0.24 if the length is greater than 15 characters.
  Workaround: Please change the password to the default “password” before upgrading the firmware from v7.0.0.9 or v7.0.0.10 to v7.0.0.24 or a newer version. 
• The switch incorrectly displays the number of configured IPv6 routes.
  Workaround: Please count the listed static routes in the table.

Notes:

• The switch fan runs at maximum speed during the boot stage (for about 2 minutes) after the power cycle; then the fan speed changes based on its internal device temperature.
• The USB storage device that you attach to the USB port must comply with the following requirements:
  • The USB device must support USB 2.0.
  • The USB device must support FAT32 or VFAT file system. The NTFS file system is not supported.
• If your XS708T/XS712Tv2/XS716T switch fails to boot up (for example you accidentally unplugged the Ethernet cable during the firmware update), follow the steps below to update the firmware again using the SCC tool:

1. Connect a PC to the switch using port 2 to port 5 of the switch.
2. Follow the steps in the Firmware Update Instruction (For XS708T/XS716T) section below for your XS708T/XS712Tv2/XS716T devices.

Warnings:

Read and follow these warnings before updating firmware from versions older than 6.6.1.7 to 7.0.0.24 

1.  If the firmware version of your XS708T/XS716T is older than v6.6.1.7, before updating it to v7.0.0.24, please download the v6.6.1.7 image first and follow the firmware update procedure in its release notes.
