Known Issues: 

• As side effect of removing the cloud service agent, automatic time zone detection is no longer supported.
  Workaround: Manually adjust the time zone and daylight savings time settings.

Firmware Update Instructions:

• To preserve your current configuration, it is always a good practice to create a backup of your device settings before a firmware update.  
• To back up settings from the GUI:  

1. Log in to the WAX204 GUI. 
2. Select ADVANCED > Administration > Backup Settings. 

To update your product’s firmware, follow the instructions in your product’s user manual. To find your user manual, visit https://www.netgear.com/support/, enter your model number in the search box, and click the Documentation button on the product page. 

• To update firmware from the GUI:  

1. Log in to the WAX204 GUI. 
2. Select ADVANCED > Administration > Firmware Update. 
3. Follow on screen instructions to update from the Internet or upload firmware from your hard disk.
