- Fixes the issue where the AP Dashboard page does not display the LAG port status correctly.
- Fixes the issue where the client count is not displayed correctly on the Insight dashboard and the connected clients page does not load if the user name includes a backslash (\) character.
- Fixes the issue where you cannot create an mDNS policy for an SSID if the SSID name contains special characters.
- Fixes the issue where an authentication pop-up window does not display for clients of a captive portal if the mDNS feature is enabled.
Known Issues:
- A MAC ACL might not work as expected when MAC randomization is enabled on a WiFi client.
Workaround: Disable MAC randomization on the WiFi client.
- 802.11r-based fast roaming fails for a Samsung Galaxy S10 client that is connected to an SSID that has WPA2 enterprise security enabled if the Protected Management Frames (PMF) feature is also enabled.
Workaround: Disable PMF.
- An Instant Captive Portal does not work for clients that are connected to an SSID with OWE security. This situation might occur on an access point that is newly set up.
Workaround: Reapply the captive portal configuration from Insight.
- Issues might occur with Insight Instant Mesh WiFi, causing the access point to operate on a non-optimum channel.
Workaround: Configure the access point to use a static channel.
- Client connectivity and throughput-related interoperability issues might occur on a WiFi device that is running a Windows, Android, or iOS version when WPA3/WPA2 Personal security is enabled on the SSID.
Workaround: Update the WiFi device to the latest available Windows, Android, or iOS version, and update the device’s WiFi client to the latest driver.
- Interoperability issues might occur with certain clients when band steering is enabled.
Workaround: Disable band steering.
- The pop-up login screen might not display for clients that are connected to an Instant Captive Portal SSID.
Workaround: Launch a web browser and enter the URL for the captive portal authentication page in the browser’s address field. You can also open http://NeverSSL.com, but using this URL to connect to the SSID doesn’t provide encryption and good authentication.
- Certain special characters are not supported in the SSID name of an Instant Captive Portal.
Workaround: Do not use special characters in the SSID name.
- An iOS or Android device might not automatically display the Facebook Authentication page when the Facebook Wi-Fi feature is enabled.
Workaround: Launch a web browser to display the Facebook Authentication page.
- After updating to a newer firmware version, the local browser user interface (UI) might not show the latest changes.
Workaround: Clear the web browser cache.
- WPA3 personal security and WPA3 enterprise security do not work with an iPad mini.
Workaround: Configure WPA3/WPA2 personal security.
