This firmware provides the following features and enhancements:

• Enables L3 routing in the default configuration

The AV UI provides the following enhancements:

• On the Network Profiles page, new profile templates are added:
  • Allen & Heath gigaACE/GX
  • Audio Genelec Smart IP
  • AVoIP Lightware AV network
  • Blustream Multicast
  • Unite Audio
  • Model M4250-9G1F-PoE+ (GSM4210PD) only: Poly StudioNet Modular Room Switch
• On the Network Profiles page, the “Add-Ports-Untagged-To-Profile” menu is added to quickly add ports to existing profiles by selecting the ports on the switch panel and selecting a profile from the menu.
• On the Overview page, the configured system name is added to the switch model name and displayed above the switch image.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixes the issue where an incorrect L3 IP MTU causes the AV UI to be inaccessible from the front ports
• Fixes the issue where CPU usage is high when the management VLAN is not default VLAN 1. [CESMB-6205]
• Fixes the issue where an access port that you set to VLAN 1 causes VLAN 1 to be tagged on all manually configured trunks. [CESMB-6189]
• Fixes the issue where an AGM734 SFP transceiver is up with the LEDs lit even when no cables are connected.

Known Issues:

• If you use the AV UI to create a manual LAG, PTP TC is not enabled if PTP TC profiles are present.
  Workaround: Use the Main UI or CLI to enable PTP TC.
• Before firmware version 7.0.3.21, there was an issue with firmware upgrades failing if the filename exceeded 32 characters.
• Downgrading from version 7.0.4.12 to version 7.0.3.21 or earlier will result in all profiles being converted to data profiles
• If you manage the switch over a management VLAN port that is part of a BirdDog AV Network profile or Crestron DigitalMedia AV Network profile, enabling the DHCP server fails.
  Workaround: Use the OOB port to manage the switch or configure the DHCP server with a non-management VLAN for the BirdDog AV Network profile or Crestron DigitalMedia AV Network profile.
• For units in a stack, a profile that you configure in the AV UI on the stack management switch cannot be synchronized to the stack members. The profile on the stack members becomes a data profile.
  Workaround: Create the profile in the AV UI separately on each unit in the stack.
• The M4500 becomes offline and inaccessible after changing the management VLAN on the engage
  Workaround: Avoid changing the management VLAN when the M4500 is on site, or manually add the VLAN to the interface. For example,

(Switch) (Interface) # switchport allowed vlan add X

(Switch) (Interface) # switchport native vlan X

• When creating a profile for the AVoIP Lightware AV network with Lightware UBEX, the Lightware devices (UBEX Encoder/Decoder) with a 2x10G fiber link cannot automatically form a manual LAG on the M4500
  Workaround: Manually create an LACP LAG (default LAG mode in AVUI) for the detected UBEX 2x10G fiber link.

Firmware Update Instructions:

Before version 7.0.3.21, you could only update the firmware for the switch image only, for example, M4500-v7.0.3.12_2.2.6.9.deb. That is, you cannot update the firmware that combines the switch image and Linux OS.

From version 7.0.3.21 to 7.0.4.12 or above, you need to submit ONIE-installer (Linux OS) to upgrade to version 7.0.4.12. However, if your switch is running firmware below 7.0.3.21, please upgrade to 7.0.3.21 first before proceeding to 7.0.4.x
