Enhancements:

The AV UI provides the following enhancements:

• Support for new profiles: Harman AV Network, Sennheiser, Nice AV Network, Pharos Lighting Control and Data, and ETC.
• New password policy: When you create or change a password on the AV UI, a new password policy applies. The password must be 8 to 64 characters in length and must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

The firmware provides the following enhancements:

• Support for OUI based VLAN assignment to a port
• Support for both a PTP boundary clock domain and transparent clock domains simultaneously on M4350-16V4C (XSM4344C) and M4350-40X4C (VSM4320C) models

Bug Fixes:

This firmware addresses the following bugs:

• Fixes the issue where the PTP boundary clock is configured on the M4350-16V4C & M4350-40X4C models and does not operate successfully as the connected device supports only PTP v2.0 [CE-6047]
• Fixes the issue where the Correction Field displays a high value when PTP enabled devices are connected and link up at 100Mb speed. [CE-6095]
• Fixes the issue where adding SNMP access configuration fails from the Main UI. [CE-5972]
• Fixes the issue where the downloaded configuration file does not contain all VLANs. [CE-6129]
• Fixes the issue where ping might fail among connected devices. [CE-6181]
• Fixes the issue where ongoing traffic interrupts momentarily if MTU setting on a port is reapplied from any UI. [CE-5803]
• Fixes the issue where IPv4 address of management VLAN is deleted after enabling IPv6. [MS-4410]
• Fixes the issue where a 1G transceiver is connected after disconnecting a 25G transceiver, and linkup fails. [MS-4510]

This AV UI addresses the following bugs:

• Fixes the issue where the Content-Type header is removed from API Responses. [CE-6422] 

Known Issues:

• In stacking units, an AV UI profile that is created on the primary management unit does not synchronize to member units. The profile on member units becomes a data profile.

Workaround: Create an AV UI profile separately on each stacking unit.

• When you select ports for the Harman Professional AV Network profile, the “Harman Device” option assigns all ports to the control VLAN instead of dynamically detecting the Harman devices.
  Workaround: Select the audio option if the connected Harman devices are audio devices; Select the video option if the connected Harman devices are video devices.
• For the ETC Lighting profile, the profile logo is not displayed for the device MAC OUI detection. All other profile functions are working as expected.

This firmware contains the following known issues:

· Auto-LAG does not form anymore if ‘PTP over Auto-Lag’ is selected.

Workaround: Don’t use ‘PTP over Auto-Lag’

· Interface counter ‘InDropPkts’ might increase slowly. [MS-4677]

Workaround: This is false, and you can ignore it.

· The four 25G ports of models M4350-44M4X4V, M4350-24X4V, and M4350-24F4V can operate at either 10G or 25G speed but not simultaneously at 10G and 25G speed.

· A stacking link works only at the highest speed that the port supports. For example, if you configure a 25G port in stack mode, the port can operate only at 25G and not at 10G. Therefore, a stacking link cannot be established if a 10G port and a 25G port are interconnected.

General Information:

• The boot code is upgraded to version 1.0.0.15 in this switch firmware. The process of upgrading the firmware and boot code takes about three minutes. Do not switch off or restart the device during the upgrade process.
• AppMgr is upgraded to version 1.0.2.26 in this switch firmware.
• Insight and Engage/AV UI are mutually exclusive. This means you can only use one of these options to configure and manage the switch, not both.
• If your M4350-24X8F8V (XSM4340V), M4350-36X4V (XSM4340CV), or M4350-32F8V (XSM4340FV) is currently running firmware version 14.0.2.23 and boot code 1.0.0.8, download the transitional firmware version 14.0.2.33 to your switch prior to download and upgrading to any newer release.
