Bug Fixes:

• Fixes an interoperability issue with Hikvision camera, model DS-2CD2146G2-ISUI.  It may not get PoE power from the switch.

Warnings:

Read and follow these warnings before updating a firmware version that’s prior to 2.0.7.4:

• We recommend against downgrading the firmware image to 2.0.6.X or earlier version after updating to 2.0.7.4 or later versions.
• Because HTTPS has been disabled by default since v1.0.2.2, the device UI Home page does not display automatically after using HTTPS to upgrade to this firmware version.  Open a new web browser tab and type the switch’s IP address to access the Home page. 
• After HTTPS is enabled manually, accessing device UI via HTTP will be redirected to HTTPS automatically.
• Default community strings “Private” and “Public” for SNMPv1/v2 are not available in newer firmware. Set a different community string before updating the firmware.
• Authentication protocol for SNMPv3 automatically changes to “MD5” if the current setting is “None”.  
• The default setting for the Smart Control Center (SCC) Management option changes from enabled to disabled. Note: The SCC Utility can still discover the switch.

Updating GS724TPv2 FW from v1.1.1.x to v2.0.6.x:

If you are updating GS724TPv2 FW from v1.1.1.x to v2.0.6.x, make sure to follow these instructions carefully.

Caution: To successfully update the firmware to v2.0.6.x from v1.1.x.x, you must perform a series of updates in the following order: V1.1.1.x.rom > V1.1.50.39.rom > V2.0.0.16.img > V2.0.0.16.bix > V2.0.6.x.bix

Caution: Existing configurations will be erased after updating the firmware from v1.1.1.x to  v2.0.0.x. Furthermore, configuration files are not compatible between v1.x.x.x and v2.x.x.x firmware.

The released zip file contains the switch firmware and MIB files. Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware updating.
