Bug Fixes:

• Fixes an issue where SNMP service hangs when the MAC table is fully populated and SNMP walk is executed continuously.
• Fixes an issue that turning off both HTTP and HTTPS at the same time causes the device UI to become inaccessible.
• Fixes an issue that causes a brief pause in protocol packet forwarding to the CPU when the rate exceeds 150 packets per second.

Read and follow these warnings before updating any firmware version prior to 2.0.0.XX:

Updating GS724TPv2 FW from v1.1.1.x to v2.0.6.1

If you are updating GS724TPv2 FW from v1.1.1.x to v2.0.6.1, make sure to follow these instructions carefully.

Caution: To successfully update the firmware to v2.0.6.1 from v1.1.x.x, you must perform a series of updates in the following order:
V1.1.1.x.rom > V1.1.50.39.rom > V2.0.0.16.img > V2.0.0.16.bix > V2.0.6.1

Existing configurations will be erased after updating the firmware from v1.1.1.x to v2.0.0.x. Furthermore, configuration files are not compatible between v1.x.x.x and v2.x.x.x firmware.

Note: HTTPS is disabled by default since firmware release v2.0.4.3, so the device UI Home page does not display automatically after using HTTPS to upgrade to this firmware version. Workaround: Open a new web browser tab and type the switch’s IP address to access the Home page.

Firmware Update Instructions:

The released zip file contains the switch firmware and MIB files. Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware updating.
