New Features and Bug Fixes

1. Four Wireless Repeaters support in WDS(Wireless Distribution System).
2. Correct the wireless blue LED indication in front panel.
3. Allow blanks in router SSID field(eg. "NET GEAR IOT").
4. Fix a WPS issue with WN111 in Vista OS.
5. Fix the bug: The WPA2 client is able to connect to router under WPA-TKIP mode security settings.
6. Fix the bug: If SSID is changed, and then un-check "Keep Existing Wireless Settings" in "Advanced Wireless Settings", the SSID will become "NETGEAR". 
   

Known Issues

1. If connecting to Bigpond, the LED will become amber after several minutes.
2. Do not allow to input special characters(eg. ~!@#$%^&*()_+`-={}|[) in Address Reservation. 
   

To Upgrade

Note: Do not upgrade the firmware using a wireless connection. Please perform firmware upgrade with “wired” or Ethernet connection only.

1. Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to reenter them manually.
2. Download using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop.

   For North America users only

   World Wide version - for users outside North America

3. Log in to the router using a Web broswer. The URL is http://192.168.1.1 ( if you did not change the router’s IP address ).
4. Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade
5. Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
6. Click Upload. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step. 
   Important Note: The upgrade process is completed when the on screen progress bar completes. If power LED light turns amber and blinking, power cycle the router to complete the upgrade.
