Note: Do not upgrade the firmware using a wireless connection. Please perform firmware upgrade with “wired” or Ethernet connection only.
Known issues & Bugs:
- Multiple language truncation.
- 20/40 co-existence,When enalbed guest network, 20/40 co-existence can't work.
- When user enables the My mail server requires authentication and the password contains ASCII characters. The router does not send out the log mail.
- Router can detect PPTP mode via CD less or setup wizard.
- When user plug-off and plug-on WAN port Ethernet cable, the WAN port did not send out DHCP REQUEST packet.
- Hairpinning/Port Forwarding, When the externel port and internal port are not the same, the hairpinning function can't work.
- AP mode if enable router as base for WDS function, LAN client can't login router.
- Firmware upgrade alert message translation problem.
- Wireless enabled after restart/power on.
- Transmit power control can't be changed via GUI.
- Correct the LAN 10M LED GPIO definition.
To Upgrade
Note: Do not upgrade the firmware using a wireless connection. Please perform firmware upgrade with “wired” or Ethernet connection only.
- Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to re-enter them manually.
- Download the firmware and save it to a convenient place such as your desktop. Unzip if needed.
- Log in to the router using a Web browser. The URL is http://www.routerlogin.net.
- Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade
- Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
- Click Upload. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step.
Important Note: The upgrade process is completed when the on screen progress bar completes. If power LED light turns amber and blinking, power cycle the router to complete the upgrade.
