WNCE2001 Firmware Version 1.0.0.25

New Features & Enhancements:

  1. Add “Russian” language support.
  2. Fix “Unable to connect to AP if configured with WPA and passphrase has & or =.”
  3. Fix “Power LED behavior – it won’t be green color if the WNCE2001 doesn’t start up completely”
  4. Fix “Hardware push button WPS IOT issue with some routers”.
  5. Fix “Can’t detect newer firmware version from auto firmware upgrade checking.”

Known Issues & Bugs:

  1. Can't connect to internet if WNCE2001 connects to Orange Livebox mini (DSL router) directly.
Workaround: Use another router to connect to Livebox mini and let WNCE2001 to connect to this new router, then you can use WNCE2001 to go to internet without any problem.
  2. Sometimes the WNCE2001 will still hijack the http access to setup wizard again even users just went through setup wizard and finish the configuration. This is because the WNCE2001 doesn’t get IP from router, this is not a bug but it may be caused by the distance between WNCE2001 and AP is too far or in an environment with other wireless interference.
Workaround: Please go through the setup wizard again to finish the wizard.
  3. Sometimes the setup wizard flow stops when you run through setup wizard over IE6 and IE7. It won’t happen on other browser, because it is a Microsoft browser bug.
Workaround: Click “Refresh” of browser to re-run the setup wizard again or use other non-IE browser to run through setup wizard.
