NOTE: Before upgrading to 3.0.4.0, please see the upgrade process in detail. If you are using a NETGEAR access point managed by wireless controller (WC7520, WC7600 or WC9500), do NOT upgrade to this firmware, as this will revert your managed AP back to standalone mode and the AP would no longer be managed by your wireless controller.
Version 3.0.4.0 will only support the WNAP210v2. Confirm the model of your AP by checking the product name appears as WNAP210v2. Do not upgrade if your AP is WNAP210.

READ THIS BEFORE ATTEMPT TO UPGRADE
Prior to upgrade to v3.x, the device MUST be running the firmware version indicate in the table below. Upgrading from older firmware version to v3.x without the required running firmware version will cause the user not able to access the device Web interface. The only way to recover is by factory resetting the device.

Firmware upgrade from v2.x to v3.0.0.7 will take about 8 minutes. Upgrade from v3.x to v3.x will take about 2 minutes.
Please see table below for upgrade requirement from older v2.x firmware to the latest v2.x firmware.

Once the device is upgraded to v3.x, it it NOT possible to downgrade the firmware back to v2.x except on WNDAP350.
Method to factory reset the AP via CLI
Using putty/tera term telent/ssh to the AP and run “restore-configuration /etc/default-config” or “restore-factory-default”
