Known Issues

1. Wireless clients will not able to associate to the AP when the “Keep existing wireless settings” is unchecked.
2. The backup config file taken from FW version V3.0.2 or before will not be restored on the FW V3.3.1 and above.
   Workaround: FW upgrade from V3.0.2 to FW version V3.3.x works fine so try to avoid doing backup / restore configuration.

NOTES:

1. The default IP address of the AP is 192.168.0.100
2. Restoring config file which has AP name with hyphen at the starting and end will not set the AP hostname properly.
3. AP name configured with hyphen in the old FW version after firmware upgrade to latest image will not display proper AP name.
4. In the following scenarios AP is expected to reboot automatically for the configuration to take effect:
   1. Change Country/Region
   2. After Firmware upgrade
   3. After Restore Configuration Settings
   4. Reset factory defaults
3. With Rogue AP and more than 2 VAPs (security profiles) enabled, the beacon interval of the AP will be automatically updated for better performance of the Rogue AP algorithm. We recommend not to reconfigure the beacon interval below the suggested value. Anything above the suggested value is fine.
   1. 1 or 2 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 100ms
   2. 3 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 41ms x 3 = 123ms
   3. 4 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 41ms x 4 = 164ms
   4. 5 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 41ms x 5 = 205ms
   5. 6 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 41ms x 6 = 246ms
   6. 7 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 41ms x 7 = 287ms
   7. 8 VAPs enabled, beacon interval is 41ms x 8 = 328ms

Firmware Upgrade Procedure:

• When upgrading from firmware V2.x.x or V3.0.x to FW version V3.3.x firmware will take around 6minutes for upgrade complete as the clear text password and passphrase keys will be encrypted which takes time for the first time only. Future firmware upgrade from V3.3.x to higher FW version will take only around 3 minutes
