WGX102 Driver Version 1.0.30

WGX102 Driver Version 1.0.30

Release Notes for Version 1030

1. Fixed excessive system clock drift. Now, in the worst case, clock will not be off by more than 5 minutes.

2. Fixed, potential saved configuration corruption issue.

3. Implemented support for a utility (1006) to allow switching between Router/AP mode without logging into the WGX102 GUI.

Known Issues with Version 1030

1. In Router Mode, the DHCP server is disabled if the router's LAN IP address is set to 224.0.0.1 or higher, so don't use higher addresses. (A "higher address" means using a number larger than 224 in the first section of the address.) As a workaround, the router's LAN IP is preconfigured to 192.168.0.101. If the LAN address is ever set higher by mistake, reset the router by pressing and holding the reset button for 20 seconds while it's powered up.
2. A wireless PC connected to the WGX102 cannot use the XE102 Encryption Utility to change the HomePlug (Powerline) network password. As a workaround, use the "Wall Plug Settings" menu in the WGX102 administration page to configure remote HomePlug devices. You need to enter the "PWD" on the back of all remote devices.
3. After changes to the router configuration settings during remote administration, the "Configuration Successfully Saved" pop-up window may have missing text.
4. When a "Blocked Service" is added and the feature is enabled or saved as "Always" or "Per Schedule", the saved option displays incorrectly as "never". Note that the "Blocked Services" feature still works correctly, it's just the displayed settings that read incorrectly. As a workaround, after enabling and saving the Blocked Service, select Always or Per Schedule again, and save the settings by clicking Apply.

Release Notes Utility Version 1006

1. Initial release. This utility allows the user to change between Router/AP mode and to change the AP's IP address without logging into the WGX102's GUI or manually setting the client PC's IP address. The wireless client card must have the proper SSID and WEP key (if any) before starting the utility. Install the utility on your PC and follow the onscreen instructions.

Known Issues with Utility Version 1006

1. All network client cards are displayed. As a workaround, choose only the wireless client card associated (with the correct SSID and WEP key) to the WGX102.
