SC101/SC101T SCM Utility Version 3.0.6_Build 6 (for US customers only)

Bug Fixes

  1. Install on a Vista SP1 computer that does not already have the SCM installed on it. After installation it will uninstall properly.
  2. Install on a Vista (non SP1 computer) that does not already have the SCM on it. After installation the computer may be upgraded to SP1 and it will function properly. After upgrade to SP1 it may be uninstalled properly.

Limitations

  1. On a Windows XP PC with the previous SCM 3.0.6 Build 2 installed, when upgradeds to Vista, the SCM utility will not run.
    When upgraded to SCM 3.0.6 Build6, it will update the uninstallation program and will then exit. When the user executes the SCM, he will be told that the current installation does not match his current OS and he needs to uninstall and reinstall the SCM.
    Solution: The user then needs to simply reinstall SCM 3.0.6 Build 6.

Installation Instructions:

To Manually Upgrade an Existing SCM Utility

  1. Select All Programs > NETGEAR Storage Central Manager > Uninstall SCM to remove the current SCM.
  2. Reboot the PC when prompted.
  3. After the reboot, double click SCM_3.0.6_Build-6_setup.exe to launch SCM Installation program. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
