To Upgrade
- Download using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop.
- Connect the computer to your coax-ethernet adapter and log in to the MCA1001 Configuration Utility.
- Select Firmware Update under Advanced on the main menu.
- Click Browse, and locate the firmware file that you downloaded to your computer (the file name includes the version number and ends with .bin).
- Click Upload to send the firmware to the coax-ethernet adapter.
The update process typically takes 2 to 3 minutes.
Warning: When uploading firmware to the Coax-Ethernet Adapter, do not interrupt the update by pressing the coax-ethernet adapter’s Mode Config/Normal button. Also, do not remove power or disconnect either your computer or coax-ethernet adapter. If the update is interrupted, it could corrupt the firmware.
- When the update is complete, a success confirmation appears. Your updated firmware versionis now displayed in the Firmware Update screen.
