I. Overview
This describes features and bug fixes in the FWAG114 BETA Release Version 1.0.29 software added since Release Version 1.0.27.
NOTE: There is no customer support for beta firmware. Customer support will ask you to return to a tested release before helping. The beta program is described here.

- Bug fix: PPPoE Server disconnect issue.
- Bug fix: ASCII config file falied to load VPN policies correctly.
- Bug fix: DHCP relay does not work over VPN.
- Bug fix: Firewall cannot defragment out of order VPN packets.
- Bug fix: Email Web UI display problem when email is configured to send at 12pm.
- Bug fix: DHCP client disconnect issue.
- Fixed SNMP crash bug when accessing Wireless MIB.
- Added GUI to change SNMP community names.
- Modified DHCP relay function to support 2 external DHCP servers.
- Modify VPN keep alive function.

- Add support for static IP option in PPPoE client mode.
- Modify DHCP client to support the ISP provisioning of the DHCP servers.

- ASCII config file modification:
- Add WAN_MAC and FILE_CHECKSUM to config file.
- Web UI username / password and IKE preshared key are 3DES encrypted.

- Allow "0.0.0.0" to be used for remote VPN gateway if the matching IKE policy is "Remote Access" type.
- Fix: VPN log format.
- Fix: Diagnostics Web UI does not allow x.x.x.255 to be pinged / trace routed.
- Fix: DDNS password not masked.
- Fix: Slow browsing problem.
- Added Super G function static and dynamic turbo.
- Fix: VPN auto policy does not resolve remote gateway FQDN.

- Fix: ASCII config file wan_dns1 parameter cannot read 2nd DNS address.
- Fix: If no service is defined in ASCII config file, previously added services are not deleted.
- Added ASCII config file upload functionality.
- Fix PPTP connection problems in Austria.
- Fix "router status" page polling interval bug.
- Fix 2 router cascade, can't configure WEB UI problem.
- Removed VPN wizard.
- Added VPN wizard function in Web UI.
- Fixed TZO function which caused LAN / WAN PC unable to ping router or access the router's Web UI.

- The "keyword blocking" problem is solved.
- The "WEP/WPA" is mentioned in the "router status" page.
- Use the star signs as the prompt of the inputted passphrase and Radius shared secret.
- Modify PPTP outgoing call request parameters: bearer type > any; frame type > any.
- Fix PPTP connection issue when "My IP Address" is not specified.
- Fix static route to LAN destination problem.
- New "wireless WPA" feature included.
- Fixed Vxworks DHCP client module:
- If DHCP server send undefined DHCP options, the client will have exception.
- Fixed: DoS attack, targa3, would have LAN users fail to access Web UI.
- Fixed: FTP problem caused by ethhook.c for targa3 attack.
- Fixed: UI will show Chinese.

V. To Upgrade
Before upgrading, write down all the configuration information you changed from the defaults. You may need to reenter them later.
For problems after upgrading, write down all your configuration information before upgrading, then clear the configuration by pressing the Factory Defaults pushbutton on the rear panel for 15 seconds. Then reenter your configuration information manually.
