FSM726v2 Fimware Version 1.2.2_0829
This firmware can be used on both FSM726 V2H1 & FSM726 V2H2.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed - Firmware upgrade issues
- Administration pages display properly on Safari Browser.
Selecting How to Upgrade
A version of switch firmware is stored in non-volatile memory, while another version is stored in regular memory.
The "Net" option, which is used in these Release Note instructions, lets you try the new firmware in regular memory without overwriting the old one in non-volatile memory. This way it's easy to recover if you have a problem with the new firmware.
The "Net & Save" option overwrites both versions with the new firmware.
The "Last Saved" option erases the new firmware, and replaces it with the old firmware the next time the switch reboots. |
Important Note on Downgrading from this version
- FSM726 V2H1: After upgrading to this firmware - you may experience
problem downgrading the firmware to earlier 1.0.X version. If this happens,
reload the software from the Boot System following this instructions.
- FSM726 V2H2: CANNOT be downgraded to any of the 1.0.X version firmwares.
