Bug Fixes
Selecting How to Upgrade A version of switch firmware is stored in non-volatile memory, while another version is stored in regular memory. The "Net" option, which is used in these Release Note instructions, lets you try the new firmware in regular memory without overwriting the old one in non-volatile memory. This way it's easy to recover if you have a problem with the new firmware. The "Net & Save" option overwrites both versions with the new firmware. The "Last Saved" option erases the new firmware, and replaces it with the old firmware the next time the switch reboots. |
