New Features and Enhancements:
- To comply with California state law, the local browser UI now requires that you change the default admin password after using it to access the switch.
- Added a new option under Security > Management Security > SCC Control to disable or enable the Smart Control Center (SCC). It is set to Disable by default. (Note: If you cannot see this new option, refresh your browser or clear its temporary internet files/cache. The SCC Utility can still discover the switch even if the SCC option is disabled.)
- To configure SNMPv3, Authentication Protocol must be configured as MD5 or SHA. The ‘none’ option for Authentication Protocol is no longer allowed. If you upgrade firmware to V5.0.2.50 from an older version, clear your temporary internet files or browser cache to see the new settings.
Notes:
- SNMP community with public or private community string is removed when you upgrade firmware to v5.0.2.50.
Known issues:
- While the link is up, port cannot be removed from a VLAN if it is also member of a LAG.
Workaround: Remove the link or remove the port from the LAG first.
- After setting the maximum number of allowed static locked MAC address to zero (under Security > Traffic Control > Port Security > Interface Configuration), no static MAC address can be added even when port security is disabled.
Workaround: Change back the "Max Allowed Statically Locked MAC" from 0 to 20.
- Can’t remove a policy entry completely in the table under QoS > Diffserv > Advanced > Policy Configuration the first time.
Workaround: Need to select the same entry and click DELETE again.
