Modifications and Bug Fixes:
Version 2.1.00.48_1.00.48
- Fixed a problem in an interim version (now withdrawn) with the 2.4GHz 802.11b / 802.11g radio calibration table which could result in poor range for this radio. So for example in the default wireless setting of "Up to 300Mbps at 5GHz + Up to 54 Mbps at 2.4GHz", the radio for "Up to 54 Mbps at 2.4GHz" would be affected. The 802.11n radio running at 5GHz or 2.4GHz was not affected by this issue.
Known Issues:
- The wireless driver was updated to support 2.4GHz 802.11N "Auto" channel selection and now conforms to new requirements from the Wi-Fi Alliance which require that only WPA2 security or no security can connect in 802.11n mode. As a result WPA security will no longer connect. So when updating to this version connections using WPA security will not function in 802.11N mode, and need to be changed to WPA2 or no security to connect per Wi-Fi Alliance certification requirements.
- In the MAC address QoS policy, the MAC address QoS policy name can't be configured.
