DG834GV v2 Firmware Version 2.02.42

Note: This firmware is only for Retail DG834GV v2 product in Australia and can not be used for DG834GV product that has been shipped by a service provider or used outside Australia.

Modifications and Fixes:

  1. Fixed: Phone call dropped after 10 minutes when G.711a codec is set.
  2. Fixed: caller ID not displaying when call initiated from GSM phone to VoIP.
  3. Added the ADSL2 selection in the DSL mode.

Upgrade Instructions

  1. Download using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop. This is a large file!
  2. Using a browser, login to the router (the default URL is http://192.168.0.1). The user name isadmin, and the default password is password
  3. Under Maintenance, click Router Upgrade

  4. Click Browse and locate the file which you just downloaded: dg834gv_2_02_42_u.img
  5. Click Upload
  6. Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.

For problems after upgrading, write all the configuration information that you changed from the defaults. Clear the configuration by pressing the Factory Defaults pushbutton on the rear panel until the Test LED blinks (at least 10 seconds). Then reenter your configuration information manually.
