Bug Fixes

• Disables Ethernet-WAN in CFE and enabled it after booting up ready. So that the packet will not be forwarded from LAN to WAN while system booting.
• [ISP TalkTalk] IPTV option in Setup Wizard will enable IGMP proxy on WAN1.
• Enable traffic meter, when the traffic reaches the limit, It will pop-up a web page, the web page should be include product model, etc.
• Clicking on [Exit] button on router genie page should allow user to exit from router genie.
• Wireless connect cannot connect to the Wi-Fi successfully if it belongs to bridge group.
• When VLAN is enabled, and 5G Wi-Fi belongs to the bridge VLAN, the wireless client cannot connect to 5G Wi-Fi,and if the 2.4G Wi-Fi belongs to the bridge VLAN, the wireless clinet cannot connect to the 2.4G Wi-Fi either.
• Interface ID can not be set as x:x:x:0.
• When the monthly limit is reached,the internet LED does not work.
• The monthly limit has been reached and then the http hijack can't happen to show the warning message.
• ABP (AdBlock Plus) will block the Advance page of our Web GUI of router.
• Port forwarding rule disappeared after click Apply in Internet Setup page.
• [Web GUI]Access control cancel button does not work.
• Fixed the bug that POT cannot log 5GHz MAC address

To Install

Note: To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection.

1. Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to re-enter them manually.
2. Using the Download Link below, download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop.The filename after extracting is D6400-V1.0.0.38_1.1.38.chk

3. Log in to the router using a Web browser. The URL is http://www.routerlogin.net.
4. Click ADVANCED tab > Administration > Firmware Upgrade. 
5. Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
6. Click Upload. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step.
   

Important Note:

1. The upgrade process is completed when the on screen progress bar completes. If power LED light turns amber and blinking, power cycle the router to complete the upgrade.
2. If the upgrade progress bar on web GUI doesn’t display correctly during firmware upgrade, you can still check the status using Power LED. The Power LED should be blinking (amber) during firmware upgrade.  After firmware upgrade is done and boots up the system, it changes to steady amber color.
   Please DO NOT power off or reboot the device during firmware upgrade, otherwise, it  may result to a corrupt firmware and cause the device not to work.
