- Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the router network.
- Enter http://www.routerlogin.net. A login window opens.
- Enter the router admin user name and password. The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in.The user name and password are case-sensitive.The BASIC Home page displays.
- Write down all the settings that you changed from the default values. You might need to reenter them manually.
- Select ADVANCED > Administration > Router Update. The Router Update page displays.
- Click the Browse button.
- Find and select the saved firmware file on your computer.
- Click the Upload button. The router begins the update. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step.
Important Note:
- The update process is completed when the onscreen progress bar completes. If Power LED turns amber and then blinks white, power cycle the router to complete the update.
- If the update progress bar on web GUI doesn’t display correctly during firmware update, you can still check the status using Power LED. The Power LED should blink amber during firmware update. After firmware update is done and boots up the system, it changes to steady amber color.
DO NOT power off or reboot the device during firmware update, otherwise, it might result to a corrupt firmware and cause the device not to work.
